Traffic Impacts | King Ave. Paving Work Nov 2025 - August 2026
On Clay Kaserne, construction work will take place in the King Ave. area over four phases of work, Nov. 24, 2025 - August 2026.
Be prepared for potential single-lane closures throughout the area and use caution while navigating these work zones.
- Phase 1: Heerstrasse in front of Bldg. 1201 + Lucas Street around Bldg. 1226; Nov. 24, 2025 – Jan. 30, 2026
- Phase 2: King Ave West Side in front of Bldg. 1201 + Bldg. 1215; Feb. 2 – March 27, 2026
- Phase 3: King Ave in front of Bldg. 1202; March 30 – July 3, 2026
- Phase 4: Wurgel Street Bldg. 1202 + 1217; July 6 – Aug. 14, 2026

Aummanstrasse Closure Traffic Plan Overview | Oct. 6 - Dec. 1 2025
As of Dec. 1st, 2025 -- Aumannstrasse has now reopened. The Clay Kaserne South Gate is now closed until further notice.

During this work phase, utilize Boyd Blvd. as your main thoroughfare on Clay Kaserne. South Gate will continue to provide an additional egress option, accessible by a detour route off Via Principalis near Newman Village -- from 4-6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
