The Soldier and Family Assistance Center (SFAC) is located near the Warrior Transition Battalion (WTB). The SFAC supports Soldiers assigned to the WTB and to those who are in the MEB/PEB.

Fort Riley's SFAC provides first class services and support to Military Service members, Families, and Army civilian employees that enhances quality of life and increases well-being.

Services

Located within the Soldier and Family Assistance Center is Information and Referral, Army Wounded Warrior (AW2) Advocate, Nurse Case Managers, Ombusdman, Career Counselor, Soldier for Life - Transition Program, Chaplain and Chaplain Assistant, along with the WTB HHC staff.  Here to serve all forces of the military service members and their families (not only active duty, but active Reservist and active National Guard).

The SFAC has a lobby available to our military service members and their families to relax between appointments.  Here is what is availalble for your use:
*Computer Lab for training and employment readiness
*Piano to play
*Pool table
*Television area
*Fire place to relax at during winter months
*Outdoor patio to enjoy fresh air during good weather
*Some light refreshments and snacks are avaiable from donations

In the next few months, the WTB/WT acronyms will have a name change and become the Soldier Recovery Unity (SRU)/Soldier Recovery (SR).

Adaptive Reconditioning Program (ARP) Classes
Game of Games is every Monday from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in room 140.
Relaxation is every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in room 140.
Hobby Studio is every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in room 142.

Chaplain
Provides counseling and resources. The chaplain has a weekly Bible Study and Pizza on Wednesday's from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in room 140.
