“My Family is from the Ukraine and seeing all the past events, along with may fleeing to Poland and other countries not at war made me realize that I do not want to be on standby for my country.”
“I imagined Basic Combat Training to be much more rigorous in the physical aspects as well as everything would be much stricter. Instead, it was more mental and less challenging physically than I expected.”
“The most challenging part of BCT was building leadership skills along with getting accustomed to working with all types of people from different backgrounds in a team environment.”
Advice I would give to those starting BCT is to “start including discipline within your routine and work on running along with getting fit.”
“My MOS is 25U-Signal Support Specialist. I chose this MOS because my degree is in electrical engineering and many of the things, I’ve learned in this field work with signals.”
