1. ISSUE TRACKING
We previewed it at the last teleconference. Today, it’s time to cut the ribbon for the IEW Issue Tracker on the IMCOM PAO SharePoint site. We’ve tested it, filled it up with issues from earlier versions (including the spreadsheets), sent it to finishing school and handed it a diploma.
With this email, we officially STOP using the spreadsheet on Teams and move to this system exclusively. We will use it to monitor all repairs, upgrades and irritations from discovery to resolution.
As with the spreadsheet, you have the opportunity to browse the list and add your garrison and POC to existing issues.
Unlike the spreadsheet, there is a single issue view for easy entry. There is a place for communicating with your support team as the work progresses. You will receive emails acknowledging receipt of the incident and when work is finished. And we have a provision for you to ask us to revisit the issue if the resolution doesn’t do the trick.

2. OPSEC TRAINING
Announcing the availability of a third way to qualify for Garrison Web Manager, Site Manager and Page Manager. The courses are taught monthly over MS Teams by the National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC), part of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI). Currently hosted by the Interagency OPSEC Support Staff (IOSS) courses cover various aspects of OPSEC. Many agencies let the two core classes (OPSE 2380 and OPSE-2390) serve as their OPSEC Level II qualification. However, the Army prefers live education.
Prospective managers must pass OPSE-1500, OPSEC and Public Release Decisions. They must also pass one of the other three classes: OPSE- 2380, OPSE-2390, or OPSE-3500. I recommend 3500 for those who work with multiple social media and 2390 for those who have

Page Contributors also have a new option thanks to NCSC. OPSE-1301, “OPSEC Fundamentals” is available at https://www.iad.gov/ioss/opsecF/fundamentals/main.html. This self-paced electronic training will be acceptable for the Page Contributor level. OPSE-1500 alone will also be accepted, a good choice for anyone who wants to move up to manager later or who wants more depth in their training.
Before you take any of these courses you will have to register with IOSS. The courses will be hosted there until Dec. 31, 2022. After that, NCSC will host the training. Go to https://www.iad.gov/ioss/. Navigate to the Training section of the IOSS home page, for more information.
