Mission:

The Directorate of Environmental Protection and Management executes the US Army Engineer School environmental proponency through the integration of environmental considerations throughout each of the functional domains of Doctrine, Organizational, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF). This integration effort includes the review and development of key Joint, Multi-service, and Army doctrinal products, the development and delivery of environmental training products, and through partnerships with organizations and entities internal and external to the Training and Doctrine Command in the conduct of studies and research efforts related to environmental considerations during overseas contingency operations.

DEPM develops and provides environmental training through resident, on-line training, or at your site (mobile training teams). We provide Army-level training or can tailor training to your organization's mission. Our online training includes Environmental Officer Certification (CONUS and OCONUS), Cultural Property Protection, and some state specific Environmental Training for the National Guard.  Click here to see a complete list of on-line training. We can develop training support packages and lesson plans for specific environmental topics or host new on-line environmental training courses upon request.
