Fort Riley’s Security and Intelligence Office manages the Fort Riley Garrison’s Personnel Security and Information Security.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Personnel Security such as security clearances and background investigations, maintaining the Defense Information System of Security (DISS) database for Fort Riley garrison employees, and coordination of incoming/outgoing visits requests to/from installation facilities/personnel offices.
- Information Security such as safeguarding National Security information including shredders, printings, safes, etc. for storage and/or proper destruction of classified information.
