Virtual Training Facility (Bldg 2359) 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
The Virtual Training Facility is located at Bloedorn Hall, building 2359 on Black Horse Avenue. The VTF consists of four classrooms capable of support with the following weapons systems: M16A2, M16A4, M4, M203, AT4, 9mm pistol, M1200 (Shotgun), M249 SAW, M240B Machine Gun, MK-19 GMG, and the M2 HB Machine Gun. Units wishing to utilize M240B on tripods must bring their own tripods and T&E’s. There are several concurrent training spaces in the training bay for units to conduct unit supervised concurrent training such as weapons PMI, positioning instructions, Short Range Marksmanship instruction, this must be requested when scheduling training. There are 203 marksmanship scenarios, 181 tactical collective scenarios, 127 judgmental shoot-don’t shoot scenarios configured for five or ten lanes. VTF has the ability to incorporate all systems into a platoon or squad collective training event. Platoon and squad can exercise SOPs, fire distribution and communications. This event requires detailed coordination and internal communications equipment from unit. Training simulates the targets and characteristics of standard Army courses of fire. Vehicle training consists of emergency action drills for evacuation (HEAT Rollover).
Space is available to support PMI and other concurrent training events within the facility.
