Soldiers are afforded the opportunity to use their phones roughly once per week at the discretion of their unit leadership. The Soldier determines who they call, units will not dictate or mandate who they call. Phone usage during training is a privilege not a right. The best way to communicate is through the mail. We encourage you to send letters often.
