Although there have been some issues with military housing in the past year, officials are cracking down and trying to find solutions for these problems. Some of these measures include getting maintenance orders filled in a more timely and efficient manner.

Fort Jackson's landscape has seen many changes throughout the years as it transitioned from Camp Jackson of yesterday to the largest Basic Combat Training post today. "Daddy Ike" witnessed all the changes the installation has undergone since 1950.

Fraternal twins, Annika and Margaret Meyer, recently became permanent battle buddies after graduating Basic Combat Training together on Jan. 30 at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. The twins were assigned to the same company within 2nd Battalion, 39th Infantry Regiment enabling them to tackle the training and graduate together.

In the wake of the deadly Novel Coronavirus outbreak, Moncrief Army Health Clinic officials are closely monitoring the health of our Soldiers and ensuring that we are taking the necessary precautions to educate and safeguard our Soldiers, Army Civilian employees, as well as Family members and retirees.
