Beginner's Archery - March 5 |
12-3 p.m. Golden Arrow Archery Range. Outdoor Recreation will offer an introduction to archery class for novice archery students which will include all necessary equipment for this course. Certified archery instructors will teach you the basics of the sport of archery. Hone your skills through one-on-one instruction. After gaining confidence, participate in some friendly games. Each patron will receive detailed instruction on safety and precautions; equipment familiarization; proper stance; how to hold a bow; aiming/sighting; and shooting. Register at Marion Street Station by March 2. |

Bataan Death March - March 20 |
6 a.m. Hilton Field Softball Complex. Come participate and honor the fallen Soldiers of the Bataan Death March at Hilton Field. There will be a 26.2 mile and a 14.2 round trip ruck march with 30Ibs (male) & 25Ibs (female). This is a free event for Soldiers and any Department of Defense ID Card Holders (over the age of 18 and in top physical condition. ) Participants can also sign up for the actual Bataan Death March in White Sands Missile Range, and conduct the event virtually using our course.
