INSTALLATION ACCESS

If you wish to sponsor/escort a non-USFK individual, you can do so at gates with Visitor Control Centers (VCC). The two most common way for individual visitors is the standard 96 Hour Guest Pass for short-term or with USFK Form 81-E for extended visits. Units that need an increased escort authority for an event can submit a memorandum to the Access Control Office for processing. Gate operations, services and hours may vary during contingency operations or public health emergencies.

For instructions and samples, please click the appropriate tab below. For any news and media outlets interested in entering the installation, please visit the Media Relations page.

For passes and vehicle registration information, please visit the Pass & ID/Vehicle Registration (DBIDS) page.

Visitor Escort

ESCORTING VISITORS/GUEST ACCESS

There are two primary ways to get guests onto USAG Humphreys:

  • 96 Hour Temporary Guest Pass
  • USFK Form 81-E (Application for Individual-Sponsored Access Pass)

96 HOUR GUEST PASS

The 96 Hour Guest Pass is usually granted for those only visiting for a short amount of time (1-4 days) and can be issued at the Adams, Yoon or Pedestrian Gate's VCC. Sponsors must have escort authority and will need their DOD-issued ID Card (CAC or DBIDS) and guests will need to bring an acceptable form of ID (please see below for list of acceptable form of ID for escort). One sponsor is allowed to escort up to 4 guests at a time (Children will be counted).

Once a pass to enter the base has been issued, the guest's ID will be retained at the issuing VCC until signed out. All guests must be signed out at the issuing VCC prior to the end of the 96 hours. Sponsors must be with their guest at all times. Any guests found without their sponsor will be considered trespassing and Military Police will be notified.

ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF GUEST ID

Korean Citizens (Ages 18 & Older) Korean Identification Card
ROK Driver's License
ROK Passport
Korean Citizens (Ages 12-17) School Pass
Korean Registration Certificate
Korean Citizens (Ages 11 & Younger) No ID required, but must be escorted by DOD ID Card Holder.

USFK FORM 81-E

The Application for Individual-Sponsored Access Pass (USFK Form 81-E) is a request for an extended pass, usually for any family members that may be visiting personnel stationed at USAG Humphreys. Sponsors will need to fill out the form with complete identification numbers for background check purposes:

  • American Citizens: Full Social Security Number
  • Korean Citizens: Full Korean ID Number
  • Foreign Nationals: Full Passport Number

Take the completed form and an attached photocopy of the guest's passport to the Pass & ID (DBIDS)/Access Control Office. The request may take up to 30 days to process. After the request has been approved, Access Control personnel will contact the sponsor for further processing.

Increased Authority Request

INCREASED ESCORT AUTHORITY

Special requests can be made for those who may need to escort more visitors than authorized, usually for a single-time event. This allows one sponsor to escort up to 10 guests. An Increased Escort Memorandum must be filled out by the sponsor, stating the purpose of the request. The memorandum must include the name, grade, social security number, organization, point of contact and desired gate for all sponsors that will be escorting guests.

A separate page must be included, listing all the guests' name, nationality, and social security number/Korean ID number. If any vehicles are also being escorted, you must include the vehicles' make and model, license plate number and insurance information.

Take the completed memorandum and list of guests'/vehicles' information to the Pass & ID (DBIDS)/Access Control Office. The request may take up to 10 days to process. After the request has been approved, the memorandum and list will be delivered to the gate that was listed on the request.
