PHYSICAL SECURITY DIVISION

The objective of Physical Security is to safeguard U.S. Government property, facilities and personnel against loss, theft, damage, espionage or any other activities which threaten life, property and continuation of military operations.

The Garrison Physical Security Division falls under the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) and works to ensure critical assets on USAG Humphreys are protected and safeguarded according to Army regulation.

The Physical Security Division also oversees the Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System (ICIDS III), the DOD-approved security alarm system for the installation. All alarm inquiries should be submitted to Physical Security.

SECURITY GUARDS

The security guards stationed at gates provide courteous and complete protection to the soldiers, families, and civilians residing and working on the garrison through professionalism, dedication and unwavering vigilance. They are responsible and have the authority to exercise and apply established rules, regulations, and legal authorities for access control and egress, and are also responsible for detecting trespassing violations in order to protect life and property and prevent theft, sabotage, fire, terrorism and accidental or willful damage and destruction to USAG Humphreys.

Physical Security Offices

Visitors, contractors, vendors and local nationals entering U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys, who do not have a DoD identification card, will need to visit the visitor passes section before being allowed entry to the installation. Those who present a common access card (CAC card), Military ID, Military Dependent ID, Gold Star ID, or other valid DoD credential won’t be affected.
Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS), Pass & ID and Vehicle Registration for personnel stationed on USAG Humphreys.
