MILITARY PERSONNEL DIVISION

Important Reassignment Update

Effective August 18, 2025, the in-person levy briefing has been discontinued.

In support of the Chief of Staff of the Army’s initiative to improve the Soldier Experience (Soldier XP), IMCOM G1 has been tasked with enhancing personnel processing to improve how PCS orders are produced and managed. Previous in-person reassignment briefing methods were determined to be inefficient—relying on outdated presentation techniques, non-standardized content, and limited opportunities for clarification.

Effective immediately, IDs will discontinue in-person reassignment briefings. Military Personnel Divisions (MPDs) will implement the IMCOM FORM 78 (Reassignments Checklist) , a standardized initial checklist designed to streamline Soldier elections and accelerate the PCS order production process.
