Safety Office

Mission:

The Devens RFTA Safety Office plans, develops and implements all aspects of the US Army Safety Program for installation organizations, tenant units, all units that use Devens RFTA facilities/ resources, and a variety of law enforcement agencies. The services provided by the Safety Office cover both tactical safety and occupational and health safety programs and requirements from OSHA and other US governmental agencies. The Safety Office provides safety related advice, research, and analysis to any unit or organization that has safety questions or issues. Additionally, the Safety Office will conduct a review of safety plans and documents, including risk assessments and Safety SOPs, upon request, and serve as a central point of contact for all safety matters. Finally, safety training in a wide variety of military and occupation health topics will be conducted and coordinated by the Safety Office for all organizations, tenants, and using units.
