The mission of the Directorate of Emergency Services is to provide first class Law Enforcement, Physical Security and Access Control Operations for the Soldiers, Families and Civilians of USAG Devens RFTA through education, prevention and efficient emergency service response to support those who support our nation.
Directs, coordinates, synchronizes, and integrates installation operations and training support activities, while providing force protection, mobilization and demobilization, reserve component training support, force modernization, operational planning, and emergency operations functions to provide a focused operating and training environment for the Senior Commander and tenant organizations.

Employment at USAG Devens RFTA
The Logistics Readiness Center (LRC), a field operating activity under the 404th Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB), provides installation logistics services to sustain unit readiness, ensure responsive force generation, and improve quality of life in our communities.
The legal office provides legal support to the Garrison Commander and staff to include administrative and civil law, labor and employment law, environmental law, and magistrate issues.
The Plans, Analysis, and Integration Office (PAIO) provides oversight of assigned programs; conducts analytical reviews; monitors Army baseline standards; captures and enables implementation of best business practices; identifies, tracks, and orchestrates reporting of performance measures; and integrates and optimizes use of technology. This office is the garrison commander’s focal point for strategy and management planning for the installation.
The Office of Public Affairs communicates the U.S. Army Garrison Devens Reserve Forces Training Area story. We highlight Devens RFTA's contributions and value to the warfighter to varied audiences to increase understanding and enhance support for Devens RFTA’s mission, accomplishments and requirements.
The U.S. Army Garrison Devens Safety Office plans, develops and implements all aspects of the US Army Safety Program for installation organizations, tenant units, all units that use USAG Devens RFTA facilities/ resources, and a variety of law enforcement agencies.
The Army's Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention program, known as SHARP, exists so the Army can prevent sexual harassment and sexual assaults before they occur. Our goal is to eliminate sexual assaults and sexual harassment by creating a climate that respects the dignity of every member of the Army family.
Develop and formulate plans, strategies and standards to achieve “First Choice” MWR programs, support commanders in the implementation of the Army’s MWR programs and operate and manage assigned MWR activities.
