The Fort Campbell US Army Garrison (USAG) Local Developmental Assignment Program (LDAP) provides multifunctional training assignments to broaden employee experience, prepares participants for increased responsibility, and improves organizational communication. The program provides a valuable form of employee development that enables employees to gather practical knowledge, skills, and abilities outside his or her common experience.
Who: Any USAG employee that has held an Army Civilian position, or a combination of Army Civilian positions, for a total of 2 or more years.
- Employee must:
- Have completed CES requirements (at least the DL portion) relevant to their grade and supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrate exceptional character, commitment, potential for growth, and future leadership capability within the command.
What: The LDAP program will have opportunities for learning and development for its participants in order to achieve fully trained, multifunctional, and responsive employees. The duration of this program is 30-90 days (days do not have to be consecutive).
When: Applications will be accepted year round.
Why: The purpose of the program is to identify and develop exceptional employees and future leaders; develop an agile, adaptive workforce; and to institute and promote a culture of coaching and mentoring USAG-wide.
What you need to submit:
- Completed application form approved by Supervisor and Director/Activity Chief
Submit packet to Sarah Jones, Training Integration Branch at sarah.m.jones76.civ@army.mil, 270-412-0166. All packets, regardless if they are approved by the Supervisor/Director, should be submitted to our office.
