Former McAfee Commander promoted to Colonel
A very special White Sands Missile Range congratulations goes out to U.S. Army Col. Aaron J. Braxton II. His promotion ceremony to Colonel was held on May 20, 2022. Braxton was the former Commander of McAfee United States Army Health Clinic at WSMR. Currently, he is the Chief, Patient Administration Division, Readiness & Health Integration Directorate - G3/5/7, Office of the Surgeon General and Headquarters, U.S. Army Medical Command.
At the ceremony, Braxton was pinned by the Army Surgeon General, Lt. Gen. R. Scott Dingle. Brig. Gen. David C. Trybula, former WSMR Commanding General, worked with Braxton while at WSMR administered his oath. Trybula is currently the Deputy Commanding General of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command or DEVCOM.
During their time at WSMR, Trybula and Braxton were critical leaders throughout the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, allowing the installation to continue accomplishing vital missions.
