Several White Sands Missile Range employees were recognized during a Garrison Town Hall meeting Aug. 13 at the Post Theater.
Garrison Commander Col. Donyeill “Don” Mozer thanked all the employees for their hard work.
“We support the organizations that do testing and all the service members and their families. You are part of that mission and a part of our national defense,” Mozer said.
Mozer then went over the Garrison Mission and Vision and talked about his leadership philosophy which includes the three Bs: Be of good character, be a team player, and be proficient.
That was followed by the signing of the “Leadership Pledge” and the “Pledge for Those We Serve”, which was signed by all the directors.
The following individuals were recognized for their timely and professional response during the Aug. 7 main post power outage: Matthew Halvorson, Jerry Jaime, Mario Moreno, and Alejandro Vasquez.
The following individuals received Length of Service recognition for five years: Frank J. Cabrales, Alberto Diaz, Hillary L. Gaither, Matthew C. Halvorsen, Julia A. Kirton, Tabitha M. Lamour, Brent J. Nickel and Joe F. Ramirez. For 10 years: Ali T. Kadim and Daniel Mejia. For 15 years: Ronald L. Heidle. For 20 years: Margaret A. Hechter, Brian D. Knight, Robert Lopez III, and Benjamin A. Townsend. For 25 years: Donald P. Morgan. For 30 years: Ernest B. Acevez and Robert P. Diaz. For 35 years: Stephen J. Edmonds and June K. Valdez. For 40 years: Zachary D. Jaramillo and James K. Sykes.
The following individuals received Certificates of Achievement for “Professional of the Quarter” 3rd Quarter: Thomas Benavidez, Lara L. Sanborn, Thomas McConnell, Rodolfo H. Reyes, Michael A. Trapp, Kimberly R. Arrey, Summer S. Irvin, Reina A. Marquez, and Teresa Parrell-Greene.
