WSMR Commander holds town hall to discuss employment and infrastructure improvements

WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE, N.M. (February 21, 2024) The White Sands Missile Range Commander Col. George C. Turner, Jr. held a town hall to discuss where the installation is headed by providing updates on infrastructure, equipment, and budgeting during a WSMR Town Hall meeting at the Post Theater.

Turner focused on his dedication to solve problems on the installation by providing resources and solutions to the workforce. He expressed that the need to work more cohesively is key to WSMR’s future. “We are all one team. We need to work better and smarter together,” said Turner. “If we don’t know what needs improvement, we can’t help in ways we want to.”

Turner ended with an open discussion involving both online and in-person attendees and addressed their questions.
