Junior Leadership Las Cruces Visit On April 26, the Leadership Las Cruces, Junior Leadership visited White Sands Missile Range. The students spent the day learning about the White Sands Missile Range mission and the unique opportunities that the installation has to offer, including different career paths. During their lunch break, The White Sands Missile Range Commanding General Eric Little spent time with the students answering their questions and sharing information on his career path. The program tailors each session for high school juniors to receive a hands-on education about Las Cruces’ rich history, opportunities, and challenges. The students tour the region and meet face-to-face with many of the area's leaders in government, nonprofits, the arts, education, healthcare, and the military. The participants also have the opportunity to meet and interact with other high school students from across the Las Cruces area.
