2021 Rancher's Day

White Sands Missile Range treated area ranchers to a tour of the Aerial Cable Range facilities during the annual Rancher's Day event Sept. 20.

Area ranchers enjoyed the tour which also included visiting Trinity Site and a capabilities display in the parking lot of ground zero. The tour was followed by lunch at the Stallion Range Dining Facility and a briefing by WSMR Commander Brig. Gen. Eric Little on WSMR capabilities and Army priorities.

Shannon Owen and Juan Brun, with the Aerial Cable Range, briefed guests and WSMR leaders on the capabilities of the Aerial Cable Range.

Guests also visited a capabilities display at ground zero and had a chance to visit Trinity Site where they received a briefing by Drew Hamilton with the Public Affairs Office. The tour included displays from the Navy, Air Force and Army.
