Chief Warrant Officer 5 Dean Registe, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood Command Chief Warrant Officer

A native of St Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Registe enlisted in the Army in June 1992.  He attended basic training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and attended advanced individual training at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia for MOS 81Q (Terrain Analyst). He was appointed as a WO1 on 4 December 2001.

Mr. Registe assumed his current position as Command Chief Warrant Officer for the U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence in August of 2023. His previous assignments include, Terrain Analyst and an Assistant Squad Leader, 70th Engineer Company 29th Engineer Battalion (Topographic), Fort Shafter Hawaii; Assistant Squad Leader and Master Fitness Trainer, 555th Engineer Company (Topographic), Fort Hood (known as Fort Cavazos since 2023), Texas; Squad Leader, 541st Engineer Detachment (Terrain), 82d  Airborne Division, Fort Bragg (known as Fort Liberty since 2023), North Carolina; Production NCOIC, 70th Engineer Company 29th Engineer Battalion (Topographic); Detachment Commander, 25th Engineer Detachment (Terrain), 25th Infantry Division (Light) Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Terrain Technician, Eagle Base, Bosnia, SFOR 11, CJTF-76; Geospatial Technician, OEF V Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, MND-North; Geospatial Technician, OIF 6-8 Camp Speicher Iraq; Senior Geospatial Technician, 132d Engineer Detachment (GPC) USARCENT, Ft Gilliam, Georgia; Geospatial Technician, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait; Division Geospatial Technician, G2, 82d Airborne Division, Fort Bragg North Carolina; GEOINT OIC, Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan; Detachment Commander and Senior Geospatial Technician, 5th Engineer Detachment (GPC), 130th Engineer Brigade. He was previously assigned to TRADOC Capabilities Manager Geospatial (TCM-Geospatial) as the Senior Geospatial DOTMLPF Integrator and Regimental Chief Warrant Officer for the United States Army Engineer School both at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Mr. Registe’s military and civilian education includes Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Warrant Officer Basic Course, Terrain Analysis Warrant Officer Course, Warrant Officer Advance Course, Warrant Officer Staff Course, Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Joint Engineer Operations Course, Air Assault Course, and Airborne Course.

Mr. Registe’s awards and decorations include: Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Army Meritorious Service Medal (4 Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Commendation Medal (4 Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Achievement Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and NATO Medal – ISAF, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Award, basic Parachutist badge, Venezuelan foreign Parachutist badge and the Air Assault Badge. He has also been awarded the Knowlton by the Military Intelligence Corps Association and the Bronze Order of the de Fleury Medal by the U.S. Army Engineer Regiment.
