CSM Keiven R. Favor

 

Command Sergeant Major Keiven R. Favor enlisted the Army in August of 2002, attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Moore, GA. Throughout his career, CSM Favor has served in numerous Noncommissioned Officer Leadership positions from Infantry Fire Team Leader through the 11th ABN Division’s G3 Chief of Operations SGM.

 

CSM Favor’s duty assignments include Hunter Army Airfield, GA, Fort Wainwright, AK, Camp Merrill, GA, Fort Carson, CO, Fort Shafter, HI and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. His deployments include four times to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and six times to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

 

CSM Favor’s military education includes every level of the Noncommissioned Officer Education System and the United States Army Sergeants Major Course (Class 71). CSM Favor has successfully completed the United States Army Airborne Course, Ranger Course, Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leaders Course, Jumpmaster Course, Basic and Advanced Military Mountaineering Course and earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Leadership and Workforce Development from the Command and General Staff College.

 

CSM Favor’s awards and decorations include: the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (3 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (3 OLC), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal (3 OLC), Good Conduct Medal (7th award), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Ribbon (4th award), Iraq Campaign Ribbon (6th award), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 5), Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd award), and the NATO ISAF Medal Ribbon (2nd award). Additionally, CSM Favor has earned the Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, and the Ranger Tab.
