2nd Street Road closure: Sep. 1 - Nov. 20
Construction on 2nd Street and a portion of H Street in Camp Forsyth is scheduled to undergo a complete road and roadbed replacement. During the construction 2nd Street will be colsed from Trooper Drive to H Street, and H Street will be closed from 2nd Street to 1st Street. Access to CDC 2410 will be via 3rd Street. Access to CDC 2420 will be via Hitching Post Road to H Street. There will be a lane shift on Trooper Drive in the vicinity of 2nd Street, but two way traffic will be retained.
River Road lane closure: Oct. 5 - Apr 21, 2021
There will be isolated lane closures on River Road (Camp Forsyth south of PX) east bound for ditch/storm drain repairs.
Carpenter Avenue lane closure: Oct. 26 - Dec. 18
There will be isolated lane closures on Carpenter Road (between Building 00 and 582) north bound for storm sewer construction.
12th Street Road Closure/Camp Funston - Oct 27 - May 29, 2021
Road will be closed to all traffic between Buffalo Soldier Rd. and B. St. in Camp Funston for storm sewer construction. Use Buffalo Soldier Dr., Huebner Rd. and A Street for alternate routes.
Carpenter Avenue Road Closure/Main Post: Oct 30 - Jan 18, 2021
There will be north bound isolated lane closures on Carpenter Avenue Road between Building 500 and Building 582 for storm sewer construction - 2-way traffic will be maintained with yield to oncoming traffic.
Estes Road Closure, Custer Hill: Nov. 16 - Dec. 4
A portion of Estes Road from the parking lot east of building 7424 to Parker Street is closed for installation on new water lines. See map for detour routes.

In accordance with U.S. Northern Command directive, Fort Riley has increased security measures across the installation. There is no specific threat to Fort Riley. This is a prudent measure to establish proactive actions to mitigate threats to the installation and protect personnel, assets, resources and infrastructure. Closures and Delays
The following scheduled road closures and expected traffic delays are due to ongoing infrastructure upgrades. Please allow more time in your travels or avoid these areas during these periods.
Beginning January 29 and expected to last about 6 weeks - Southbound traffic on Huebner Rd will be redirected to Northbound Huebner Rd. The intersection at Custer & McCormick will be a temporary 4-way stop during this time. This work is part of phase two for the bridge replacement on Huebner Rd.
Dec. 23, 2016 - Apr. 01, 2018: road construction will be near the intersection of Huebner and McCormick Roads, west of the Post Cemetery. Drivers should be alert for movement of trucks on and off the roadway. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be overseeing construction of a replacement bridge and realignment of Huebner Road.
