The Armed Forces Disciplinary Control Board’s (AFDCB) purpose is to advise and make recommendations to commanders on matters related to eliminating conditions adversely affecting the health, safety, morale, and discipline for the Armed Forces.

To submit a complaint or topic for discussion, Soldiers and family members can work through their chain of command or submit directly to the Directorate of Emergency Services, Military Police Investigation Section at 502-624-1337.

After an investigation, the AFDCB works with businesses to correct serious deficiencies and engages local civic leaders and police to assist. If the issue cannot be resolved in a satisfactory manner, the AFDCB may vote to place the establishment off limits.

The AFDCB also works closely with the local Better Business Bureau (BBB) to ensure information sharing on issues affecting service members and their families.
