The 34th Military Police Detachment has a proud history of service to this Nation. It received the Philippine Presidential Unit Citation and later was awarded the Luzon Campaign Streamer for its heroic efforts during 1944 thru 1945 in the Asiatic Pacific Theater, World War II.
The detachment later found service in the mid 70’s in Wuerzburg, Federal Republic of Germany and was eventually deactivated and absorbed into the Wuerzburg Military Community Activity. The detachment was reconstituted on 16 June 2001 and assigned to the United States Army Accessions Command and Fort Knox, Kentucky.
