Mission

Our mission is to manage, maintain, and operate all of Fort Knox’s training ranges, lands, and restricted use airspace to maximize their capability, availability, and accessibility to support doctrinal requirements, mobilization, and deployments under normal and surge conditions and to support their long-term viability and utility to meet the national defense mission safely and effectively.

OIC/RSO Brief
To obtain your Fort Knox OIC/RSO Range Certification Card you must attend our OIC/RSO Brief. The class is given on Thursdays at 1 p.m.at Fort Knox Range Operations, Flint Hall - Bldg. 9308 on Wilson Road, in room 109. No reservation is required. This certification is good for one year. The brief is not offered on Federal Holidays nor the last two weeks of December. To schedule a brief via Teams for your unit, email donald.l.miracle.civ@army.mil.
