Post Newcomers Orientation

8 a.m., 1917 Club. This orientation is mandatory for all Soldiers and Department of the Army Civilians arriving at Fort Jackson. Spouses are encouraged to attend. First Friday Golf

Drill Sergeant Timothy Kay Soldier Performance Readiness Center. The DS Timothy Kay Soldier Performance Readiness Center is hosting the annual KWOD for Fort Jackson. This event is to honor Kay’s life, legacy, and birthday. Soldiers from 165th and 193rd Infantry brigades, 120th Adjutant General Battalion (Reception), and 1st Battalion, 61st Infantry Regiment can from 6-7 a.m. All other Soldiers across installation can conduct the KWOD on 12 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will start on the hour every hour until 2 p.m.
