Post Telephone Service Changes |
Ten-digit dialing is now required when making calls from Fort Jackson telephone service. A 10-digit dialed telephone call requires entering both the three-digit area code and the seven-digit telephone number to complete the call, even if the area code is the same area code as your own, this now includes Fort Jackson to Fort Jackson calls. This is similar to making any call via cell phone. |

Temporary closures (Update) |
Update: The Fort Jackson ID card services will be open 1 p.m., June 24 for walk-ins only and be fully operational June 25. Retirement Services Office has temporarily relocated to DHR operations area. New Soldier in-processing briefs resume June 25. |

National Night Out postponed |
The National Night Out event, scheduled for Aug. 6, has been postponed due to impending inclement weather from Hurricane Debby. An alternate date has not yet been determined. |
