“My Family is the reason I joined the Army.”
“I originally thought Basic Combat Training would be a little harder than what it was. I have always had the thought of joining, but I was asking my uncle what basic was like, and he told me how thing have changed. So, I had hoped they left a little bit of the hard stuff in.”
The hardest part of BCT was “dealing with other people’s stupidity. I don’t get why people think its hard to stand at the position of attention for three minutes.”
“Don’t let the bad days get you down,” is what I would tell someone about to start BCT.
“I am a 91B-Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. I chose this job because of the bonus.”
