Basic Skill Education Program (BSEP)
Basic Skill Education Program (BSEP)
BSEP provides in-person academic instruction to support Soldiers' job-related learning, performance of military duties, career progression and lifelong learning. Participation in BSEP provides lessons addressing three specific Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT) subtests that comprise the GT score: Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, and Arithmetic Reasoning. Each session runs for three weeks, full day, Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
After each course, there is a one-week study hall open to everyone. Visit the Education Center for more details and available class dates. You must attend a mandatory brief before enrolling in the course. Briefs are held every Tuesday at 2 p.m., and no registration is required to attend. You will need to enroll in a BSEP course and obtain your commander’s approval.
E-mail the testing center to schedule an AFCT test.

Computer Lab
The computer lab is available on a first-come, first-served basis Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Soldiers may use the computer lab to complete Army training, civilian courses or check emails. Members can print up to 5 pages a day. There is no time limit on computer use.
