2/24/21, 12:31 PM | Young Eagle Medical Home and some third floor services at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital are temporarily relocated following an activation of the building’s sprinkler system overnight. In addition to impacting services on the third floor of Building C, water damage also caused changes to outpatient clinical space directly below the 3rd floor services. Outpatient services impacted include: Young Eagle Medical Home, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Allergy and the COVID-vaccine clinics. The COVID-vaccine clinic, which serves eligible individuals in Phase 1a-c on the DOD Population Schema by appointments only, shifted to the hospital’s A Building 0 level at this time. All appointments continue as planned for the COVID-19 vaccine clinic. For other impacted services, clinic personnel will reach out to reschedule patients or share new locations for scheduled appointments. If you had an appointment scheduled in any of these services this week and you have not received a call from your clinic, please reach out to your clinic personnel before going to your appointment to determine if you appointment is cancelled or relocated. All efforts are being made to adjust services for patient care to continue in person. Some appointments may need to be conducted telephonically. The hospital team is working diligently to repair water damage and minimize the impact on patient care. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our beneficiaries. |
