A tornado watch has been issued for Fort Campbell and the surrounding areas. Valid from until 5 a.m., tomorrow morning, April 28, 2026. Potential exists for tornado development for Fort Campbell. A Warning will be issued later if required. - Stay in the Know: Ready.gov - https://www.ready.gov/tornadoes, My Army Post App, Facebook, Instagram, X, and ALERTS! Emergency notification system. - Add ALERT! to contacts: Call screening features added to iOS 26 can impact iPhone users' ability to receive important Alert! emergency notifications. The iPhone iOS 26 update has created an issue receiving messages. To continue receiving notifications, add the Alert! phone number to contacts: 703-454-0563. - Confirm receipt of ALERT! Messages: We ask all personnel to completely listen and/or read ALERT! messages in order to confirm the message. The number to press to confirm receipt is at the end of the message. Once you confirm receipt and it is registered in the system, you will stop getting the same message repeatedly.


Exercise Gate Closure

Palmyra Gate (near the intersection of Palmyra Road and Highway 79/Dover Road) will close April 27 – May 8 due a training exercise. All other gates will remain on their normal schedule.


TC Freeman/Gate 4 Visitor Control Center to temporarily close

Effective April 14, 2026, the Gate 4 Visitor Control Center (VCC) will be temporarily closed. ▪️Gate 4 will remain open for vehicle traffic. ▪️All VCC operations and services will relocate to Gate 7, which will operate 24/7 effective April 14. Sobriety Checkpoints April 10-12

In order to ensure the safety of the Soldiers, civilians, and the family members of the U.S. Army Fort Campbell community, Fort Campbell Installation Provost Marshal Office will conduct Sobriety Checkpoints across the installation April 10 – 12. *Note - Per Kentucky and Tennessee state laws, Sobriety Checkpoints are required to be announced. The goal of the checkpoints is to reduce the presence of impaired driving within the Fort Campbell Community.*
