Margo A. Gardea

Margo A. Gardea became the interim deputy garrison manager in Brunssum, the Netherlands for U.S. Army Garrison Benelux January 2024. She is currently serving in both the Acting Deputy Garrison Manager role and as the Chief of the Plans, Analysis & Integration Office (PAIO) for USAG Benelux.
Gardea began her Department of Army civilian career in 1994 and has had various positions and levels of responsibility while serving as a PAIO Management Analyst, Budget Analyst, and Instructional Systems Specialist. Her previous assignments include the 1st and 3rd Infantry Divisions in Würzburg, Germany; Soldier Support Institute at Fort Jackson, South Carolina; United States Army Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas; and the United States Army Garrison, Fort Bliss, Texas and Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
Gardea is a graduate of the Civilian Education System Advanced Course, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Course, Installation Management System, and Leadership El Paso (one year chamber of commerce sponsored leader development program). She also holds a master's degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Maryland University College.
