Jeff A. Gliedman
Jeff Gliedman became the Deputy Garrison Manager for U.S. Army Garrison Benelux in Brussels in August 2025, and serves as the Garrison Commander’s principal representative and advisor providing direction and general administration, meeting the needs of the Brussels community and mission partners, providing quality of life and readiness support services.
Prior to becoming the DGM Brussels, Gliedman served as the USAG Benelux Chief of Protection, a position he assumed in April 2022, and concurrently served as the Interim DGM Brussels from August 2024 to July 2025. From December 2020 to April 2022, Gliedman served at the Army Service Component Command level, as the Plans Chief of Plans, Engineering Directorate, Southern European Task Force - Africa in Vicenza, Italy. His first assignment with Installation Management Command was as the Chief of Plans and Operations with USAG Fort Detrick, Maryland from 2018 to 2020. The initial years of his federal career started in 2011 with the U.S. Army Africa (USARAF), Vicenza, Italy.
Gliedman is a United States Army Veteran with 22 years of service, mostly in Europe, including three tours in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a recipient of the Army Engineer Regiment Bronze De ’Fleury Medal and is a 1993 United States Army Europe Sergeant Morales Club inductee.
Gliedman is a native of Wallkill, New York, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from the University of Maryland and is a certified Project Management Professional. He is also a 2009 graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy, Non-Resident Course, Class 35 and also received equivalency credit for the Advanced Course from the Army Management Staff College.
