Erica M. Nowells

 

Erica M. Nowells became the site manager for Army Prepositioned Stock-2 Site in Eygelshoven, the Netherlands for U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Benelux in December 2022. Before her current assignment, she served as the operations specialist at USAG Benelux-Brunssum.

Nowells began her Department of the Army civilian career as a plans and operations specialist at Fort Gordon, Georgia, for the 406th Army Field Support Brigade - Logistics Readiness Center. She later secured an operations specialist position for USAG Benelux, where she reported on, coordinated and executed efforts in support of DOD security assistance to Ukraine.

She is a decorated combat veteran and proud recipient of the prestigious Order of Saint Martin award. She retired from the Army in October 2015, following more than 20 years of service in both continental U.S. and outside the continental U.S. assignments.

Nowells holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior University–Albany, New York. She holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Green and Black Belt), Contracting Officer Representative, Occupational Safety & Health Standards for general industry and federal agencies (OSHA - 511 & 6511), various Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) courses and the International Society of Logistics Demonstrated Master Logistician. Nowells also is a graduate of numerous military courses and schools.
