CSM Brandon Creel

Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Brandon Creel is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He entered the U.S. Army on March 11, 2003, and completed One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Benning, Georgia, as an Infantryman (11B).

CSM Creel has served in every leadership position from Team Leader to Command Sergeant Major. His stateside assignments include Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Fort Benning, Georgia; Fort Bliss, Texas; Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska; and Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He has completed one short-tour overseas assignment to Camp Casey, Korea. Additionally, he has deployed three times to Afghanistan and Iraq for combat and contingency operations. 

CSM Creel’s military education includes Airborne School, Combat Lifesaver, Warrior Leader Course (WLC), Environmental Compliance Officer Course, Unit Prevention Leader (UPL) Course, Equal Opportunity (EO) Leaders Course, Total Army Instructor Training Course, Basic Combatives (Level 1), U.S. Army Drill Sergeant School, Tactical Combatives (Level 2), Basic Military Mountaineering Course (BMMC), Squad Designated Marksman Instructor Course, Master Resilience Trainer (MRT) Course, Advanced Leader Course (ALC), Pathfinder Course, Air Assault Course, Jumpmaster, Senior Leader Course (SLC), Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Course, the Company Commander and First Sergeant Pre-Command Course, Cold Weather Orientation Course (CWOC), Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course (CFD-IC), Battalion Pre-Command Course (PCC), Garrison Pre-Command Course (GPCC), and the Sergeants Major Course (Class 71).

CSM Creel resides in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, with his wife Mary and their three children, Ayden, Levi, and Ellie.
