Education Opportunities

Counseling's an integral part of the individual's educational endeavors. The Education Staff is committed to providing quality services and programs to active duty personnel, family members, retired military personnel, and civilian personnel. Professional guidance counselors staff the Education Center and provide a full range of adult and continuing education counseling. Individual counseling is available during normal duty hours on a walk-in basis. Counselors are also available to visit units and provide briefings to soldiers and commanders on the education opportunities at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Recreation
Aberdeen Proving Ground Recreation is a division under APG's Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation directorate. They are committed to providing top notch services and events for Aberdeen Proving Ground and the surrounding community. Our facilities include Outdoor Recreation with Boating and Fishing, Bowling Center - Brewner Lanes, Campgrounds, Equipment Checkout, Exton Golf Course, Ruggles Golf Course, Hunting, Picnic Areas, Recreation Centers, RV Storage, Skeet & Trap Range, Horse Stables and Swimming Pools. Dining and Entertainment

Lodging
Aberdeen Proving Ground Lodging will make every effort to ensure that your stay is both comfortable and enjoyable. Whether you are completing your tour of duty at APG, have just arrived, or are on vacation, we are delighted to have you visit with us. Lodging facilities are open to military personnel (all ranks/grades), their family members and guests, and retired military and their guests. Advance reservations are permitted by all ranks on leave or official duty.
Auto
The Auto Craft Center is a self-help facility that has 9 hydraulic lift bays, 4 general flat bays, 3 body shop bays, tire change station bay, wheel alignment bay and paint room bay. There are knowledgeable personnel available for technical assistance. We offer a clean, safe, and earth-friendly environment to repair and perform maintenance on your privately-owned vehicles and equipment. General tools and some specialty tools are also available. You do the work – we ensure quality standards are met. Qualification cards are accepted from other military installations or, ask our Auto Craft staff about getting your APG card. Provide Religious staff advisement to the Garrison Commander, allocate resources (to include Unit Ministry Teams) in support of Installation contingencies, supervise Chapel programs, facilitate Chaplain-Corps specific training for Corps personnel, participate in the Community Health Promotion Council.
