How to Book ID Cards appointments ONLINE
(Please use EDGE or CHROME)

CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THE APPOINTMENT SYSTEM

  1. Click ID CARD OFFICE LOCATOR & APPOINTMENTS

  2. On the left side under “Search for Site by Address” Type Ansbach(DO NOT TRY TO CLICK THE MAP)

  3. Hit ENTER on the keyboard

  4. Scroll HALFWAY down the page, on the right side next to the map it says “Ansbach Germany” Click SELECT

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page under the map

  6. Click “Schedule and Appointment”

  7. Select Month

  8. Check the calendar for available appointments

  9. Click “Available appointments” in the date you are interested in booking

  10. Scroll under the calendar and click “BOOK THIS APPOINTMENT"

  11. Fill in required information… COMPLETE

The ID Card Section at the Central Processing Facility at Katterbach Kaserne, part of the Directorate of Human Resources, helps newcomers gain their Common Access Card identifications (CAC).

WALK-IN SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • CAC issuance and update
  • DEERS enrollment of newborns and updates
  • Family member DoD ID card issuance
  • Dependency determination applications
  • Member-of-household applications
  • CAC lock/pin reset
  • Lost or stolen ID card (must have MP report -- see details below)
  • Military/civilian expiring ID/CAC prior to next available appointment
  • Adding a new dependent
  • In-processing civilian personnel (72 hours after in-processing at CPAC)

 

LOST OR STOLEN ID CARDS:

Sponsor must be present or applicant must provide one of the following:

  • DD Form 1172 (with notary seal) from sponsor
  • DD Form 1172 verified by another verifying official from any ID card facility and signed by sponsor
  • Valid power of attorney from sponsor
  • Sponsor's deployment orders

Other mandatory requirements:

  • MP memorandum confirming report of lost/stolen ID card
  • Two forms of ID -- one must be a photo ID (not applicable to children under 10 years old)
  • Passport, driver's license or national ID card

 

SUPPORTING PERSONNEL OFFICES OFFERING MANDATORY EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION

The following Supporting Personnel Offices verify customer's employment for issuance of ID cards to sponsors and their family members. The offices issue DD Form 1172-2 as appropriate. The verifying officials must have a DD Form 577 signature card/signature memo on file at the ID Card/DEERS office.

  • AAFES Personnel: AAFES Human Resources Office
  • Contractors: DOCPER
  • Contractors (Local): Local Contracting Office
  • DoD Civilian Employees: Civilian Personnel Activity Center (CPAC)
  • DoDEA Personnel: District Superintendent Office (DSO)
  • NAF Employees: NAF Human Resources Office
  • Retired Military Personnel: Personnel Services Battalion
  • Uniformed Personnel: Personnel Services Battalion

PLEASE NOTE: Community members should always carry a second form of identification when accessing any U.S. military installation in Europe.
