Guidelines for Official Duty and Space A passengers:

• Priority Access: Official Duty Buses are designated primarily for service members. If space permits, Civilians, Contractors, and Dependents may also ride. A valid ID is required for all passengers.
• Personal Items: Items such as strollers, bicycles, and scooters must be stored either beneath the bus or secured in the center section where fold-down seats are available.
• Responsibility: Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings at all times while on board.
• Safety: Help us keep the ride safe and comfortable by keeping a close eye on your little ones and ensuring they’re seated, buckled, or supervised throughout the ride.

Note: The official duty shuttle will not run on German holidays or during red or black ROAD CONDITIONS.

The city bus system in Ansbach is a subsidiary of the city's public services, Stadtwerke Ansbach. It is also integrated into the larger Nuremberg Transport Network (VGN). This means your train ticket will often cover your bus fare beyond Ansbach if it has the VGN logo.   ​​

Additionally, both the Deutschland Ticket and Bayern Ticket are valid for travel on Ansbach city bus lines. Most lines connect at the Schloßplatz and Bahnhof in downtown Ansbach.
