The mission of U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach Retirement Services Office along with the Garrison Retiree Soldiers Council is to provide Retired Service Members and their Families with a means of participating and communicating with the Active Army to maintain current knowledge of benefits and entitlements and to inform the Retiree Community of upcoming events of interest.
Ansbach Retired Soldier Council
USAG Ansbach Retired Soldier Council Charter (5 Nov 24)
The Garrison Retired Soldiers Council (GRSC) is a group of Retired Soldiers whose primary mission is to provide lines of communication between the retired community and the Garrison Command Group.
They provide the Garrison Commander advice and recommendations regarding vital issues and concerns of Retired Soldiers, Spouses and Surviving Spouses.
The council members provide information to the retired community and collect information about suggested improvements in the local Garrison area.
For improvements/changes that cannot be accomplished at the Garrison level, they refer the issue to the Army in Europe Retired Soldiers Council (AERSC) for resolution at that level.
