Col. Donyeill Mozer, White Sands Missile Range Garrison Commander and Command Sgt. Maj. Jimmy Diaz, Garrison Command Sergeant Major, hosted a well-attended housing town hall at Roadrunner Lanes on Thursday, August 14, 2025, to provide an update and allow residents to voice any concerns directly to installation leadership.
Also attending the town hall was Col. Andrew Morgan, White Sands Missile Range Senior Commander, Command Sgt. Maj. Hermes Acevedo, White Sands Missile Range Command Sergeant Major, and Jennifer Dixon, Operations Director for White Sands Homes.
Dixon informed the attendees that their participation in the 2025 Tenant Satisfaction Survey allowed White Sands Missile Range to earn the Crystal Award for Service Excellence! Each housing area were also recognized, with the Columbia-Officer and Patriot Neighborhoods earning the Platinum A-List Award and the Columbia-Enlisted, Pershing and Trinity Neighborhoods earning the A-List Award.
Dixon also provided an update on upcoming capital projects to be completed by December. These projects include sidewalk installation along Ravenna Avenue to include xeriscaping along Ripley Street sidewalks; new topsoil in the Dog Park; sealing and recoating of all walking paths; and trash can pads in both Pershing and lower Trinity Neighborhoods.
Attendees received updates from representatives from the Directorate of Morale, Welfare and Recreation; Directorate of Emergency Services; Army and Air Force Exchange Services; Commissary; Religious Services; Child Youth Services; Army Community Services; and McAfee Health Clinic.
The event concluded with Col. Morgan introducing himself and Command Sgt. Maj. Acevedo to the residents and thanking them for participating in both the tenant survey and this town hall.
