DPW Halloween Decorations Give a Fright

Employees with the White Sands Missile Range Department of Public Works got in the holiday “spirit” and decked the dark halls of the first floor of their building with Halloween decorations Oct. 26.

Nancy Hale, a program analyst with DPW, was the master mind behind the decorations that brought back memories of Halloween as a child with the hopes of creating a distraction from the difficulties of the past years.

“(Decorating the office) brings back childhood memories,” Hale said. She said employees from the top floor came down to see the decorations that reminded them of celebrating Halloween in elementary school.

“It gives them something happy to think about and memories of the traditions we used to celebrate.”

Employees in the Master Plans side of the house and her supervisor also assisted in the decorating.
