

LTC Jarrad D. Glasenapp
LTC Jarrad D. Glasenapp is from Hartland, WI and was commissioned as an Armor officer upon his graduation from St. Norbert College (Green Bay, WI) in 2004. LTC Glasenapp comes from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL where he served as the Army ROTC Department Professor of Military Science since 2019.
LTC Glasenapp’s previous assignments include Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer and Battalion Logistics Officer for 1st Battalion, 34th Armor in the 1st Infantry Division. As Company Executive Officer, he served during OIF 05-07 as part of the surge forces into Baghdad, Iraq. While assigned to 3rd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (AASLT), LTC Glasenapp commanded B Troop, 1st Squadron, 33rd Cavalry in Paktya, Afghanistan during OEF 10-11. Later, LTC Glasenapp served as Executive Officer of 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry, and Operations Officer of 1st Battalion, 63rd Armor while assigned to the 1st Infantry Division. Before departing Fort Riley, he served as Chief of Training for the 1st Infantry Division.
Additional assignments include serving as a Small Group Instructor at the Maneuver Captain’s Career Course, Fort Benning, GA, and an Observer Coach/Trainer with MCTP, Fort Leavenworth, KS.
LTC Glasenapp’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal with Valor, Valorous Unit Award, Combat Action Badge, Parachutist Badge, and Air Assault Badge.
LTC Glasenapp’s education includes a B.A. in Communications from St. Norbert College, and M.S. in Military Operational Arts and Sciences from the Air University.
