LTC Carl M. Forte

 

Carl M. Forte graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2007 and subsequently commissioned into the Infantry. Upon completion of IOBC and additional training at Fort Benning, GA, LTC Forte began his first assignment at Fort Bragg, NC in 1-508 PIR, 4th BCT, 82nd ABN DIV. During this assignment, LTC Forte served as a Rifle Platoon Leader, Anti-Tank Platoon Leader, and a Company Executive Officer. After attending Special Forces Assessment and Selection, LTC Forte completed the SF Qualification Course in 2012 and was assigned to 3rd Special Forces Group. While assigned to 3rd SFG (A), LTC Forte served as a Detachment Commander, Headquarters Company Commander, SF Company Commander, and BN Executive Officer.

LTC Forte has deployed in multiple capacities in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Resolute Support/Freedom Sentinel, Operation Spartan Shield, Operation Inherent Resolve, and operations in North and West Africa.

LTC Forte’s military education includes the US Army Infantry Officer Basic Course, Ranger School, Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leader’s Course, Airborne School, Static Line Jumpmaster Course, SERE C, and the Special Forces Qualification Course.

LTC Forte has been awarded the Basic Parachutist Badge, Senior Parachutist Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Master Combat Infantry Badge, Special Forces Tab, and Ranger Tab.
