CSM Jason D. Duncan

CSM Jason Duncan is a native of Spokane, Washington. He enlisted into the Army in July 1996. He completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Benning, Georgia as an 11B Infantryman.
CSM Duncan has served in all Leadership positions to include Fire Team Leader, Squad Leader, Bradley Section Sergeant, Senior Drill Sergeant, Rifle Platoon Sergeant, Scout Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant and Maneuver Senior Leader Course Branch Chief. CSM’s assignments include 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (AASLT), Fort Campbell, Kentucky; 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Casey, Korea; 2nd Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; 3rd Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; 2nd Battalion, 47th Infantry Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia; 2nd Squadron, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; 2nd Battalion, 58th Infantry Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia; 2nd Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; The United States Army Sergeants Major Academy Class 67, Fort Bliss, Texas. CSM Duncan’s overseas deployments include Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF I), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF 05-06), Operation Iraqi Freedom (09), and Operation New Dawn.
CSM Duncan’s education includes all NCOPDS schools and he is a graduate of USASMA Class 67. He is a graduate of the Basic Airborne Course, Air Assault School, Jumpmaster Course, Ranger School, Drill Sergeant School, Battle Staff, Master Resilience Course and has completed all levels of US Army Combatives.
CSM Duncan’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star (2 OLC), the Meritorious Service Medal (1 OLC), the Army Commendation Medal (5 OLC), the Army Achievement Medal (4 OLC), Presidential Unit Citation, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, and the Korean Defense Service Medal. His military badges include the Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, Ranger Tab, Airborne Badge, Air Assault Badge, Drill Sergeant Badge and Drivers Badge. CSM Duncan is a member of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.
CSM Duncan is married and has six children and one grandson.
