Command Sergeant Major Antwone T. Jones

Command Sergeant Major Antwone T. Jones entered the United States Army in March 1993 at Fort Jackson, South Carolina where he attended Basic Training followed by Advanced Individual Training as a Combat Medic (Health Care Specialist 68W) in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

CSM Jones’ military education includes every Non Commissioned Officer Education System (NCOES) course from the Basic Leaders course in Fort Stewart, Georgia, through the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy in Fort Bliss, Texas. He has also attended; The United States Army Drill Sergeant School, Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Environmental Coordinator Course, Fort Knox, Kentucky, Equal Opportunity Course, Fort Knox Kentucky, Anti-Terrorism Officer Course, Fort Riley, Kansas, Master Resiliency Course, University of Pennsylvania, and the Cadre and Instructor Training Course, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. CSM Jones has obtained an Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences from Central Texas College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Health Sciences from Trident University and is enrolled in a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration degree program from the University of the Incarnate Word. CSM Jones has served in numerous leadership positions from combat medical specialist through sergeant major.

CSM Jones’ duty assignments include Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Kaiserslautern, Germany, HHC, 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry, (Combat Medic) Fort Stewart, Georgia, Winn Army Community Hospital, Fort Jackson, South Carolina, 2nd Battalion, 46th Infantry (Drill Sergeant), Fort Knox, Kentucky, HHC, 1st Special Troops Battalion (1SG), Fort Hood, Texas, Reynolds Army Community Hospital (1SG) , Fort Sill, Oklahoma, B Company Maintenance , 302nd Brigade Support Battalion (1SG), Camp Casey, Korea, and HHC, 232nd Medical Battalion, Department of Combat Medic Training (DCMT) Fort Sam Houston, Texas (SGM), Regional DENCOM Command- Atlantic SGM, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Moncrief Army Community Hospital, (CSM), Fort Jackson, South Carolina. CSM Jones’ most recent assignment was as the U.S. Army Central Command (USARCENT) Surgeon Directorate SGM, where he was responsible for resourcing the medical equities in the Middle East and Central/South Asia nations. CSM Jones has also completed two combat tours; Operation Iraqi Freedom 05-06 and Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-08, one tour to Kuwait and one short tour to Bosnia.
