Welcome to the Detroit Arsenal
Located in Warren, Michigan and situated just north of the City of Detroit, the arsenal serves as the host to several defense organizations to include the Tank-automotive and Armaments Command, United States Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Ground Vehicle Systems Center, Defense Logistics Agency, Army Contracting Command-Warren, Integrated Logistics Support Center, Program Executive Office Ground Combat System and Program Executive Office Combat Support and Combat System Support. These organizations provide a large majority of the systems used in the Army and we are proud to serve as their home.
POPULATION
The Detroit Arsenal is the only Active Duty Military installation in Michigan. We provide services to more than 200 Soldiers and 7,000 DOD Civilians on the installation. We also provide services to more than 800 Active Duty within 60 miles of the installation and an additional 23,454 Army associated Military, Dependent Family members, Surviving Family members and DOD Civilians in the area. We also support Retirees, Title 10 and Title 32 Reserves, Army National Guard and Air National Guard throughout Michigan and our programs are directly linked to the Health, Safety and Welfare of Soldiers and Family Members.
SIZE
The Detroit Arsenal encompasses 178 acres, with 67 buildings creating more than 200M square feet of building space. There are approximately 7,500 civilian/contract workers and 250 military on post.
