**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT**

**UPDATE TO TEMPORARY PLATE POLICY**

In accordance with AE 190-1, the following changes have been made to the temporary plate policy:

To obtain a second set of temporary plates, you will need to provide the following:

  • The first set of temporary plates
  • A new, blank insurance card
  • A valid payment method

Additionally, a second set of temporary plates cannot be issued without:

* A failed inspection report, or
* A digitally signed Memorandum for Record (MFR) from your O3 or supervisor (for civilians) stating why the vehicle has not been brought in for inspection, as an alternative. This MFR should provide a valid reason for the delay in getting the vehicle inspected, and must be signed by your O3 or supervisor with their CAC.
