  • Operating hours for the Tower Barracks Postal Service Center (PSC) will be temporarily changing, June 30-Oct. 3.  

  • Finance (ship parcels) and official mail: Monday through Wednesday and Friday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; mailroom (pick up parcels): Monday through Wednesday and Friday, 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; in and out-processing, Monday through Friday: 11 a.m.-3p.m. Please see a mail clerk to register for the overnight postal locker service for package pick-up, if interested.  

  • Packages can also be mailed from the Rose Barracks PSC during hours the Tower Barracks PSC is not open: Monday through Wednesday and Friday: 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Thursday: noon-4:30 p.m.  

  • Grief Group Therapy will be offered by the Religious Support Office, July 11. This session is not just about sharing experiences, but also about learning and practicing coping skills. By mastering emotional regulation, problem-solving, and social support strategies, participants can feel empowered and hopeful about their ability to navigate their grief.

  • USAG Bavaria Army Volunteer Corps: Volunteers provide a vital role in improving the quality of life for Soldiers, families, and the broader community.  Volunteers can gain valuable and transferable skills that support both personal growth and professional development.  Every experience brings new insights, meaningful interactions, and the opportunity to be part of something greater.   

 

To be a volunteer at USAG Bavaria, individuals are required to complete Volunteer 101 training, be registered in the Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS), have a signed DD Form 2793 (Volunteer Agreement Form) on file, and maintain accurate records of hours served for each position, not only for recognition but for insurance and liability protection.

Gate 9 Closure

Tower Barracks Gate 9 will be closed to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic for maintenance for one month starting Wednesday, June 25, at 8 a.m. To mitigate community disruption, Gate 7, near the Auto Care Center (Bldg. 442), will open on Wednesday and may be utilized for inbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic only. Please note, two forms of ID will be needed due to network connectivity limitations. Vehicles may also use Gate 6 to access the Camps or One Community Road. Expect delays due to increased traffic at Gate 6 and plan additional time for your commute.

CONTRACTING CUSTOMER EDUCATION PROGRAM:    

The Regional Contracting Office – Bavaria is excited to announce the second iteration of our Customer Education Program, designed to strengthen the partnership between contracting and our requirement developers. The session will take place on June 11, 2025, 9:30 a.m. to noon, at Building 542, conference room 1, Tower Barracks with 30 open seats available for this training event. The focus will be supplies and services requirement packets.

This session will provide you with essential knowledge on contracting processes, best practices, and tools to enhance collaboration and efficiency in meeting mission requirements. The RCO Bavaria Customer Training is planned as a quarterly event; however, based on interest and feedback, we are open to increasing the frequency to bi-monthly sessions to ensure continuous support and foster strong partnerships.
